The Orange Grove
Spanning approximately five acres, and with more than 400 Valencia orange trees and a serene pond, the Orange Grove is a unique feature of the campus landscape and urban forest. The Orange Grove is actively used for research studying bee populations and pond turtles. Oranges are harvested and shared with local community groups and food banks. The Orange Grove also houses a solar observatory and provides a scenic and tranquil place where you can visit, socialize and study. Many students also come to see the turtles, mallard ducks and koi fish that live in the Orange Grove.
