The College of Humanities, which comprises eight academic departments and seven interdisciplinary programs, is the most diverse college at CSUN. Sierra Hall is home to CSUN's renowned Department of Psychology. The National Science Foundation confirmed that more CSUN Psychology graduates go on to complete doctoral degrees than graduates from any other non-Ph.D.-granting university in the country. Sierra Tower, the tallest building on campus, houses the departments of English, Linguistics, Modern and Classical Languages and Literature, and Philosophy.
