The Art and Design Center is home for all things artistic on campus. It features a 6,000-square-foot main gallery and a smaller gallery with rotating exhibitions that often feature panel discussions. The center serves as a cultural hub for the Greater San Fernando Valley, bringing members of the community together through art. Exhibitions include the work of our undergraduate and graduate students, local high school students, faculty and working artists. An open-air complex with rooms for sculpture, weaving and similar work, it includes a computer lab for animation students and a darkroom where you can develop film. The teaching, research and work-study program VISCOM provides an opportunity for students to produce award-winning videos, artwork and graphic design for professional clients. An annual portfolio review allows our students to connect with designers and score jobs or internships.
