As a student, you’ll visit Bayramian Hall to find important services. If you’re interested in becoming a CSUN student, you can schedule an appointment with a counselor from Student Outreach and Recruitment to learn more and get your questions answered. Once you’re a Matador, you can have a photo taken for your student ID, meet with a financial aid representative and declare your major. (You can do some of these things via the CSUN Portal, too.) The Testing Center is also located here. The center proctors a number of tests that you may need to take while you're at CSUN, such as English or math placement tests, a certification or licensure test, and the Upper Division Writing Proficiency Exam.
Also located in Bayramian Hall is the office of Disability Resources and Educational Services, which provides students with disabilities access to services such as note taking and other accommodations. On the fourth floor is the Career Center, where you’ll find career counseling and job fairs throughout the year and can connect with on- and off-campus employers. University Counseling Services, on the fifth floor, is where you can go for group or individual therapy as well as workshops and educational programs. Athletes get academic planning assistance and tutoring at the Matador Achievement Center on the second floor.
