Jerome Richfield Hall houses the Department of Chicano and Chicana Studies — the largest program of its kind in the nation, with 25 full-time and 35 part-time professors, and offers more than 160 classes each semester. The building features a writing lab, a tutoring center and the Barbara Ann Ward Language Center, which provides a variety of helpful resources for students learning a language taught in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literature. You’ll also want to check out the murals commemorating Chicano culture and history!
