CSUN hosted UC Irvine on Thursday September 25th, looking for their first conference win of the season. CSUN had the chance a game prior before against Fullerton but ended in a tie. CSUN in the first half struggled quite a bit but in the second half the matadors were able to overcome their early struggles scoring a goal which ended up being the determining factor for the game. CSUN won 1-0.
