The CSUN Ice Hockey team welcomed UCLA in the first of two back-to-back matches at their home rink at the Iceoplex in Simi Valley. The Matadors and Bruins tied in two out of three periods, while UCLA found ways to outsmart CSUN to win the final period 6-4. Freshman forward Kevin Yousefpour scored a hat trick of three goals against the Bruins. The Matadors hope to bounce back when they visit Northern Arizona University next week.
