Each week during the 2022-23 season, GoMatadors.com selects two Matadors as Student-Athletes of the Week. This week, we highlight Women's Basketball's Tess Amundsen and Men's Basketball's De'Sean Allen-Eikens for their performances on the court.
Tess Amundsen, Women's Basketball
Tess Amundsen averaged 22.5 points in a 1-1 week for CSUN. Amundsen scored 17 at the University of San Diego on Dec. 6. Amundsen posted a season-high 28 points at Seattle University on Dec. 10. She was 9-of-15 from the floor and 6-of-10 from three-point range against the Redhawks.
