The first annual KICKit World festival took place in Inglewood, California on April 6, 2024. The event featured a variety of activities and panels, including live performances and masterclasses hosted by industry professionals, focusing on hip-hop and urban street culture. Multifaceted artist and humanitarian Jaden Smith brought his “I Love You” food truck to provide free meals to kids in need. The festival was held at a producer academy founded by Larrance Dopson. Masterclasses on music production, screenprinting, and environmental policy were hosted by Dopson, Desto Dubb and Smith. Smith stated the event aimed to showcase possibilities and foster creativity. The night concluded with a live performance by rapper Rich the Kid.
