- All dayTrans Week of AwarenessThe USU Pride Center presents Trans Week of Awareness and Trans Day of Remembrance. Join us as we and celebrate trans and gender-nonconforming brilliance, resilience and the legacy of activism that continues to inspire change. The week kicks off with a Pool Day in collaboration with the SRC, where trans joy is uplifted through fun games, lip-sync battles and giveaways. We will then immerse ourselves in trans history with a movie viewing, followed by a competitive trivia day built to educate and challenge. To commemorate trans expression and art, you are cordially invited to attend the Art Showcase, Love is a Revolution, where student work will be exhibited in the Santa Susana Room. Our culminating Trans Day of Remembrance will honor lives lost to gender-based violence, while uplifting their memories as well as the power of our community’s enduring light.
