The USU Pride Center presents Trans Week of Awareness and Trans Day of Remembrance. Join us as we and celebrate trans and gender-nonconforming brilliance, resilience and the legacy of activism that continues to inspire change. The week kicks off with a Pool Day in collaboration with the SRC, where trans joy is uplifted through fun games, lip-sync battles and giveaways. We will then immerse ourselves in trans history with a movie viewing, followed by a competitive trivia day built to educate and challenge. To commemorate trans expression and art, you are cordially invited to attend the Art Showcase, Love is a Revolution, where student work will be exhibited in the Santa Susana Room. Our culminating Trans Day of Remembrance will honor lives lost to gender-based violence, while uplifting their memories as well as the power of our community’s enduring light.       Do you need interpretation for an event? If so, please fill out the Interpreting Services Request Form at least seven business days prior to the event. 

In collaboration with the Career Center, students can enhance or refine their resumes to effectively highlight their skills and experiences. Additionally, they will receive expert advice and guidance to improve their interview techniques, ensuring they are well-prepared for future career opportunities. These sessions aim to provide personalized support to help veterans confidently navigate the transition to civilian employment.
